Research & Projects

Advancing Equity, Justice, and Healing

These projects and research are deeply rooted in community-based participatory design and decolonizing methodologies, blending Indigenous and Euro-Western science to create transformative solutions. By working closely with partners around the world, we center equity, justice, and healing—ensuring that research is not done on communities but with them. This strengths-based approach uplifts the wisdom and expertise of those most impacted, fostering collaborative solutions that are culturally grounded and sustainable.

Many projects incorporate global learning, recognizing that the best solutions often emerge from reciprocal exchange. By learning from diverse communities and sharing knowledge across cultures, we co-create innovative approaches to shared challenges. This fosters mutual benefit, deepens relationships, and strengthens pathways toward a more just and equitable world.
