Witness Misericordias Kirenga is a dedicated and compassionate palliative care nurse with over 12 years of experience in providing high-quality care to patients with life limiting conditions. Currently, she works as a palliative care nurse and trainer at Selian Hospice, where she has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of palliative care.

As a palliative care nurse specialist, Witness works with patients from diverse backgrounds to improve their quality of life, including those with cancer, chronic diseases, and other life-limiting conditions. In addition to her clinical work, Witness is also a nationally recognized trainer and educator. She has trained healthcare professionals in palliative care principles, symptom management, counseling and communication skills throughout Tanzania. Her expertise has helped to enhance the capacity of healthcare providers to deliver compassionate and effective care to patients with serious illnesses.
